It was a great experience!
Amazingly enjoyable tour, though a very long day. Returned to hotel after 10PM. Am glad we took the time, since I've only viewed Grand Canyon from airplane. My Tablet Front Screen is a photo of the Canyon captured in a photo, reminding me of the power and magnificence of our Creator's hand.
You will wish you had more time at the Canyon! This is a long day but worth every penny! guides are great very knowledgeable. Plan for this to be the only thing you do on this day. Pick-up was 6am returned about 9:30pm.
This tour was amazing!
It is long journey but worth it, an amazing view of the Canyon. The tour well organised and I would recommended this tour. I had wonderfull trip.
What nature has created here is absolutely worth seeing. The bus driver was very competent and explained a lot. The journey takes a long time, but is worthwhile in any case.
This was by far the best tour, well worth the money!!! Enrique was our tour guide/bus driver and was fabulous he knew the canyon very well, he made us all feel special... I loved this tour and would highly reccommend this tour. It is long but so worth it.
We made two stops on our way to the canyon to stretch our legs, get food or go to the bathroom. There is a bathroom on the bus also
Then we stopped for lunch and to see a movie on the grand canyon, I would not reccommend the movie it wasn't that good and it made us have to rush for our lunch included, we ended up eating it on the bus. Overall this trip was wonderful!!!!
Super excellent....though a long journey to reach the destination, but we dont feel tired because of experience that we got, a beautiful canyon, amazing indeed. Our coach driver, Enriques has very extensive experience, knowledgeable, attentive to group, drive comfortly.
MUST SEE !!!
Excellent tour!!!! The amazing views brought tears to my eyes. I would recommend this tour to anyway who does not want to do the driving themselves. Being on the bus allows time to sit back and just enjoy. The driver takes you to all the top viewing locations for picture perfect opportunities. I preferred the South Rim over the other rims as I felt the views were much better longer trip but well worth it. The only negative side to this tour is the time spent at the departure location. After the first pickup, you still have to assemble at a second location where they round everyone up like cattle according to which rim you are going to and it takes a bit of time. The other down side is the time spent at the lunch location/souvenir store. The lunch is not the greatest but it's food when youre starving suggestion: bring your own snacks if you can. This trip could be a lot shorter if they would adjust the time spent during the roundup and cut the lunch time in half. Other than that, it was a great trip and purchasing the tickets through Viator was super easy and reasonably priced.
Great tour! Very organized. Recommend upgrading to the smaller 12 seat van. There's adequate rest stops along the way. Our driver, John, was excellent and took good care of us.
It's a long ride to South Rim, but worth it, and very well organised. We had about an hour each at two of the classic viewpoints, with incredible views, and an opportunity to walk a short way down one of the trails. The scenery is just magnificent - as soon as you arrive your jaw drops in amazement! The drivers and guides really know their stuff, and there is informative commentary on the drive to the Canyon.
The most precious day, thank you. Wonderful does not explain it enough!
We loved this trip, It is a long, long day but was the only way for us to see the Grand Canyon. We travelled 4 hrs there, making 2 short stops. Saw 2 different locations of the South Rim for 2 1/2 hrs total and 4 hrs, back. Enrique was our driver - just the best!! He looked after us, explained clearly what we were about to do, gave us the times to be back on the bus, and we were safe with him !Lunch was goodprovided , snacks were available when we stopped, but I brought my own. All of the stops featured very fast food service. Wonderful day, one I will not forget!! I even managed to shop a bit, and quickly, because there is not a lot of extra time! Great tour we evenvsaw a few movies that Enrique had,on the way back!
Throughout the entire day the staff was very helpful and courteous. Buses were clean and comfortable, and the narrated tour gave lots of great information. It was definitely a long day due to how far we had to travel, and the several stops, but overall a great day. My only complaint would be the rest stop we stopped at on the way home to refuel and get food was not the cleanest. Dont let this deter you from taking this trip though, you really cant get a trip to the Hoover Dam and two spots in the Grand Canyon with this much information for this price! We didnt do any of the upgrades and it worked out perfectly with time. Had just enough time for lunch as well as sightseeing on both the stops.
Great trip. Great driver. Had a great time.
Absolutely wonderful. A long day but upgrading to the smaller luxury bus made it easier. Plus we got breakfast and lunch included.
the Grand Canyon is just so beautiful.
I have no complaints with this tour. The bus driver was hilarious and the ride was comfortable.
The only thing that bothered me was that some other riders kept coming back late and that would take away time from the next stop. but other than that I loved it!
Upgraded to the VIP van tour. Our guide was an amazing driver and friendly person. He kept us on schedule and we didn and #39;t miss a thing! Definitely recommend!
If you were with great. Definitely worth it. I added on the helicopter ride which made it even more amazing. I would definitely recommend.
Check check off my bucket list. What an awesome experience it was to visit the Grand Canyon with mhm 80 year old mother and my sisters. Will definitely visit agin with my granddaughter.
Sharon from Connecticut
A very long day but well worth it. Our driver Elvinio and staff at Gray Lines were very efficient and professional throughout. Several rest stops along the way with also several photo stop opportunities, one at The Hoover Dam 30 mins One at the Canyon Geographical Centre 1 hour and two stops on the South Rim of the canyon 2x 90 mins brilliant day out with magical views.
What beautiful canyon...This was a very long day so be prepared...but so worth it..
We went on the Pink Jeep tour when we arrived and our tour guide took us to the best photo stops on the South Rim. He was very knowledgeable about the canyon and it's tourist development. We got some fantastic photos, dramatic photos too. He did mention that they take you on the tours no matter the weather unless the road is closed for ice but they go in the rain and fog. Lunch was good, better than the West Rim that we went on last year. It is a very long ride from Vegas to the rim and the bus was more cramped than the photos/video showed but we managed. We aren't large people not small either so it worked out ok. You may feel a little rushed at the Hoover Dam so be ready to get up the hill, take your photos, and get back to the bus. I'm sure the urgency was to make sure we got to the South rim in time to get our activity done before the bus driver timed out. We had enough time to get to the dam and back to the bus, but not really enough time to take in every detail or to read the historical markers. The canyon is breath-taking. Bring binoculars and a camera. We had a really good bus driver and we did get a comfort stop along the way both going out and coming back. I've seen the canyon twice now so it is not likely that I will go back but it is definitely worth the trip and it's so nice to have someone else do the driving. You can sleep on the bus. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel so it was super convenient. It did take up our whole day but we knew it would and planned for it.
This was an amazing trip. We upgraded to the small limo tour with less people. Jeff, our driver, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very accommodating and helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend this tour. The views were amazing and the weaterh was perfect.
This was an amazing trip. Long day but with a comfortable ride in the coach bus, we had plenty of room to stretch out and relax all along the way. Everything was exactly as described. Our bus driver was AMAZING. He gave us outstanding history on the area, the grand canyon and hoover dam. He was very passionate about his job, and it showed. I traveled with my 2 teenagers 14 and 18 and we all loved this tour. We spent 8 days vacationing from las Vegas to San Francisco and this was our favorite day next to Yosemite. I would highly recommend.
The Pink Jeep tours is the way to go to get great views of the South Rim. Andrew was a fantastic guide with a lot of knowledge about the Grand Canyon and its rich history. Truly a big bucket list trip!
The Grand Canyon South Rim tour was breath taking! My family and I really enjoyed. The bus driver was knowledgeable and informed us along the way. We enjoyed the 3D movie at the museum, as it was short and to the point. We got just the right amount of time to enjoy the canyon before heading back to Vegas. We were there a total of 3 hours. It is a must if you visit Vegas to get away from the strip for a day.
This tour is great. Its a long trip out to the Grand Canyon and worthwhile to have someone driving so you can really enjoy the time you have when you get there. The Grand Canyon is truly amazing and beautiful. Very insightful narrative on the bus too. Highly recommend!
Great tour... but I have to be honest.. Grand Canyon West Rim is a better tour!
I surprised my Fiancé with the helicopter trip as a bonus to the Grand Canyon trip, and he was so happy. The experience was truly overwhelming, so very beautiful and worth every penny! It was a long day but there was a film on the coach, the driver was fantastic and there was an interesting tour guide audio tape that played on the way to the Grand Canyon. We stopped at the Hoover Dam first, which is an experience in itself and there were stops for a MacDonalds on the way and Subway on the return journey not included in price. On the helicopter trip we were given a lovely packed lunch part of package, where people not on the tour had a meal voucher to eat on their stop where the Imax cinema was. We could not go to the Imax cinema as we did the helicopter. When we arrived at the coach station after being picked up from our hotel we everybody was given the option to upgrade if they wanted including a luxury Mercedes trip fewer people 4 or 6 I think which obviously would have been more comfortable and free bottled water for the duration of the day, but I must say that the coach journey was comfortable and very enjoyable. Well worth it! We had 2 stops after the helicopter trip at different parts of the Grand Canyon although these were mighty cold and we didn'tt spend long looking at the Canyon, we got a coffee, looked at the souvenirs and sat on the coach to wait for the hard core sight seers. Fantastic and I can't thank the staff enough!!
The tour was excellent and our tour guide was funny and punctual. I loved that! Be on time people or we will leave you!
If this is a first time visit to Las Vegas or anywhere close, definitely take out time to go to Grand Canyon. Its a natural wonder like which I have never seen such anywhere in the world. Now, if you have decided to go to Grand Canyon, do go to South Rim as this is the most scenic of all the Grand Canyon viewing points. Would rate the trip as below:
Plan as described on the website
Pricing as describerd on the website.
Timing as described on the website: started at 6 AM pickup from The Venetian and got dropped at 10:30 PM at the hotel. It is definitely tiring
The only areas of improvement are:
- Comfort of the bus: Could have been more spacious seats to accommodate a bulky guy like me
- Pick up from the hotel takes almost 1.5 hours to complete in the morning
All in all - a definite recommendation. !
An incredible trip! The tour guide was informative and the bus was comfortable. The only downside was that we only stayed at the canyon for 2 hours. Overall, it was a great experience!
Great trip out to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas, the whole day exceeded our expectations, we are just so pleased we booked this trip and we will remember it always.
It was a long trip going to grand canyon but definitely worth it! for those who want to see more of the canyon i suggest getting the pink jeepney tour:
the bus trip was good. Driver was full of anecdotes kept the trip interesting. there was also a tape? about the history of Vegas as well to keep you entertained. They did encourage you to buy a helicopter ride or jeep exploration. we didn't bother there is plenty to see just walking around.
the only bad experience was the lunch stop before seeing the canyon, you are given vouchers for a meal at the stop, pizza hut outlet, you only have a limited time there but when you have 6 or 7 coach loads of people descending on a place built to accommodate 2 coach loads you end up in a massive queue and when you get to the food service your choice is limited to what's left, then there is no seats available to sit and have your food as they cannot cope with the amount of people, And there are places across the road empty, as the vouchers are only valid for the one place.
the grand canyon is fantastic and its a fantastic day out.
Loved this trip. It was about 18 hours in total for the day, but didnt really feel that long at the time. They first picked us up at 6am and stopped at a few other hotels to pick more people up. We then got to the bus terminal and they checked us in, there was a coffee shop and bathroom at terminal so we got to get breakfast and use the bathroom if needed.
We then got to the bus, found our seats and we were off. The bus had a bathroom too, not that many people used it as we stopped at lot but it was good to know it was there incase of an emergancy. After about 1 and a half hours we stopped at the hoover dam, we got 20 mins here. Got to see the dam then back on the bus. There was bathrooms here too but the line was crazy.
About 2 hours of driving we stopped again at McDonalds. The time betwneen these stops went really fast. The driver spoke a lot and tbere was little videos about the towns we were passing. After this was another 2 hours. At this place we got lunch, there was a few options for lunch including pizza, sandwiches and chicken and rice. We watched an imax video too. I thought that was stupid, we were 15 mins from the GC and we werre watching a movie about it. After an hour here we made our first stop at the GC, it was amazing here, we didnt stay long becuase the altitude was low. But the views here werre awesome. We then went to another point were the lodges were. We watched the sunset here, i loved the views here and we had about 2 hours, it was nice to just sit and watch the views. We got back on the bus after that and they put a movie on. We only had 1 stop on the way home, it went pretty fast. I brought a tablet with my own movies and some snacks so i was pretty comfortable. When we got back to the strip we had to get on anothed bus. This was anouying at the time becuase we had to get off our bus, but they did this to split up the hotels so it was good becuase there wasnt as many stops. We got dropped off at 10pm.
We had a 3 week holiday in the states and this was probably the best day we had. Would recomend it for sure, i am not someone who likes long drives either and i was very comfortable.
This trip was well organised and the included lunch was delicious. We opted for the 2-hour jeep hour which was brilliant, the tour guide took us to the best locations for photos. I wish I could do it all again, one day isn't enough at this awesome place.
The pick-up time was accurate. Lunch was included and it was excellent, there were so many choices. We also selected the tour with 3D movie and were not disappointed. On the way back to Las Vegas, we stop for a bite to eat. I would recommend this tour to anyone who does not want to spend a lot of money.
It was a very long day but there were enough stops plus informational videos and movies on the coach to make it enjoyable. I recommend the upgrade Pink Jeep afternoon tour/IMAX/lunch. We got to visit incredible lookouts with our special guide taking us to his favorite spots! Loved it.
Enough time to See Hoover Dam and Two Grand Canyon Points.
Dream com true to see the Grand Canyon. I even met with my friend whom I haven't seen in years who lives in Vegas. A must do trip!!!
We enjoyed this tour so much.. The views was breathtaking. It is a must for everyone going to Vegas..
The Grand Canyon Tour was unbelievable! I was picked up from my hotel, on time, and from there it was fun. We stopped at the Hoover Dam, for 15 min, took pictures, and we were on our way. I upgraded to the pink jeep tour, and our guide Brady was friendly, informative and the real deal! It was a long day, and worth every moment of it. The Grand Canyon is spectacular!
Wonderful tour! Got to see Hoover Dam with a picture taking stop. There were 2 different areas of the Grand Canyon we visited along with a stop with lunch included and where one can watch a movie or browse their gift shop. The only issue I had was at the end of the tour when they switched bus drivers. He seemed a little disorganized or not knowledgable with the route with getting back to the hotels so got back a little late after this long day.
Highly recommended and a great value for the money. Got to stop at Hoover Dam for a picture stop as well as 2 different areas of the Grand Canyon with a stop for lunch where one can also watch a movie or browse their gift shop. Only complaint would be at the end of the long day and the bus drivers were changed. The new driver seemed disorganized or not too knowledgeable with the route to get us back to the hotel so got back a little late that night..
This trip to the Grand Canyon from Vegas provided us with two great stops at the Canyon and a short stop at
Hoover Dam. The bus was very comfortable but be prepared to be in it for a very long time.
It would have been nice to have something other than Subway offered for supper with a little longer stop but
that of course would have made us even later getting back - it's a trade-off.
The bus driver was informative but not too chatty and I would recommend this trip if you're going to
Vegas and want to see the Canyon/
Great value for money and amazing experience well worth the bus journey. Added extra of visiting Hoover Dam. Highly recommended
One of the most amazing things you can see you must do this at least once in your life.
I did the helicopter upgrade and it was AMAZING. It is expensive but is worth to do it. The driver was a gentelman. I think his name was Enuc.
Long long day but worth it ... you have to do the south rim so worth the extra time it takes to get there. Highly recommend the pink jeep tour . Abel our driver was an expert on the canyon and took us off the beaten track. It was amazing .
The tour was excellently conducted by patient tour guide cum bus driver, Marina who was obviously worked overtime to allow more time for us to admired the grand canyon. We are satisfied though the journey was a little rushing that we not able to spend more time in viewing the hoover dam, nor were we allocated sufficient time to ask question on the controversial dam impacts that I am interested. However, overall I grade the tour highly.
Upgraded to the deluxe tour in the sprinter van, enjoyed traveling in the smaller sprinter van and all the extra perks that came with the tour.
An amazing experience to see part of the Grand Canyon, but it's quite a long drive to get there, so bear that in mind when you book the trip. We've started at 6:30am and cam back around 10:15pm.
This was a great day trip. The views from the South Rim were breathtaking. The driver of our Gray Line coach - Mace was informative, polite and friendly. He drove us to Hoover Dam on the way to the Grand Canyon, which was great. On our way to the GC National Park we stopped off for light refreshments in Arizona. Lunch was included in the standard price, which was a set menu but there was a good choice. Once we arrived at the Grand Canyon South Rim we were given an hour in each area before we had to be back on the coach to depart. Mace was very clear about what time and where we had to reconvene. The coach was comfortable, clean with air con, toilet and the option to watch a film on the way there and back. As a solo traveler I felt safe and secure on this tour. It is a long day trip so be prepared.
The tour is well planned with adequate number of stops for sightseeing and refreshments. Our instructor cum driver, Steve was awesome.
Grand Canyon was great but the bus trip was unpleasant as movies were played loudly and weren't what we would ever choose to watch. Due to the mixed languages open on the bus I would recommend just some quiet music would be far more pleasant
Just awesome. Strongly recommend the Pink Jeep upgrade and ask for Frank the driver, or Frankipedia as he is known!
It was a wonderful trip with Gray Line Las Vegas. Highly recommended!
This is a great trip. I enjoyed every minute of it. The view at the grand canyon was fantastic.
Beautiful tour. Fantastic Views!
On my first trip, years ago, we had one view of the South Rim. This time we took the jeep tour. It was well worth the time and money. We got 5 views of the Canyon. Our guide, Shawn, was friendly and knowledgeable. He was attentive to everyone.
Well worth doing the Grand Canyon trip. Absolutely breathtaking! We did the pink jeep tour of the canyon with our enthusiastic guide Rich he was superb! Late pickup and drop off to the hotel by the coach company meant we got back to our hotel very late and were unable to carry out other events.
Awesome views not enough time for pit stops
Great tour well worth it. Driver Ryan was very professional and couldn't be more helpful. All in all delighted with end result. Thanks to all concerned.
Great tour. Meticulously organized, well cared and very interesting.
The driver Uncle Russ was wonderful and entertaining.
Excellent day trip, although it is a little tiring.
Great tour, Great driver Ken, but really long... however they do make it fun and informative and it is worth it.... The Grand Canyon is a sight to behold!
The trip to the South Rim is a VERY long day but well worth it to experience the most spectacular part of the Grand Canyon. Stopping to view the Hoover Dam was nice and some of the views out across the desert on the journey are stunning too.
This was a great trip. We took the longer duration option south rim instead of shorter one west rim. It was worth the time.
Fantastic all day trip with the option of either a helicopter flight of a two hour jeep ride.
I took the jeep ride, provided by Pink Jeep Tours, and had a great time. They drive along the length of the Canyon, stopping off at the vantage points up to a point to allow an easy return.
Add the IMAX movie and National Geographic Visitors Centre and the day is done.
It was a great trip little long but we would do it again.
The attention of the driver was excellent. The bus very comfortable. Trip excellent and exceed my expectations.
This tour was amazing!
This tour was amazing!
This tour was amazing!
Trip was great- tour bus driver was really funny. We took the pink jeep tour with IMAX but were given the wrong wristband at Gray Line, causing for some confusion upon arrival at the Grand Canyon
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Grand Canyon. Upgraded to the Pink Jeep tour around the canyon rim which was well worth the extra cost. It is a very long journey, 5hrs travelling each way including rest breaks, but wel worth the effort.
Enrique was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the area. Long drive but worth it.
A bit long, but worth your time if you are visiting Vegas for a couple of days and want to see something wonderful.
This tour was amazing!
Absolutely wonderful except Too much preaching about the downfalls on gambling which most adults understand. We were a captive audience with that message on the tv screen playing over and over.
Super tour, I would recommend it to anyone.
This tour was simply incredible! Richard (our coach driver/guide) was hilarious, we didn't have a single bad moment on this tour. The bus was comfy and Richard played movies which made the long trip in the bus better. We had a brief stop at Hoover dam, which was more beautiful than expected.
We were picked up early and taken to the Gray Line loading area. We opted for the VIP tour once we got there and we have zero regrets. It was a little bit more but it included all day water, breakfast and lunch. The meals were nothing too exciting but what was good is that our tour was only 10 people. We were in a nice vehicle with comfy seats and cupholders and window shades, if needed.
We made a quick stop in Kingman to stretch our legs and then to the Grand Canyon. It is a long drive - about 4-5 hours each way so we had only 2 hours at the Canyon. 40 minutes and three points. We made the most of it and took a ton of pictures. Our driver, Enoch, was great. He was a good steady driver and would point things out when needed. There was a presentation of the history of the Canyon and we watched 3 movies, albeit not good ones so bring a book as a second choice.
We also stopped at the Hoover Dam for a few minutes and were able to walk on the bridge and take pictures but, as with the rest, it was a very quick and timed visit. It has to be when you are on such a long journey. All in all, well worth the day out. It made me want to go back to the Grand Canyon for a longer stay!
excellent tour....this is the best value for money way to visit the Grand Canyon.
Tour was great. Well organized, comfortable and timely. If you can though, do the canyon on your own. You can make your own itinerary, spend more time at the lookout points, and go for a longer hikes. If you do want to stick to a tour, and stick to a one day trip, this one is great!
Everything we hoped for.
Great trip I loved every minute of it and would highly recommend this to anyone. My only negative thing to say is about the driver Ken that he constantly threaten to leave the group if they were not back on time at every stop which made it feel more like a school trip than vacation. We had a rather large diverse crowd and he constantly made crude and rude jokes and even lied about us not being able to charge our phone on the bus when asked he stated the bus had to be going at a 1000rpm ridiculous. I would definitely reiterate to the bus company about the importance of professionalism to its drivers and that we are the customers that keep them in business. Other than that the Grand Canyon is a must see when visiting Las Vegas!!
A definite must do!!! The Grand Canyon is awe inspiring.
Well organized, fun and a knowledgeable tour guide is a plus!
I had an amazing experience with Viator and would recommend to all.
Beautiful, better than I expected. The Canyon is awesome.
