After driving through the Mojave Desert, you will arrive in Los Angeles. Lunch in the Hollywood area is included with your tour. See all the major highlights of the greater Los Angeles area during your time here.
Visit the Santa Monica Pier, a landmark that is more than a century old. Admire the iconic entrance and one-of-a-kind solar-paneled Ferris wheel, and see an original carousel hippodrome from the 1920s. You can also enjoy the shops, entertainers, video arcade, pubs, and restaurants, if you wish (food, drinks, and activities at your own expense). The end of the historic Route 66 sign is a great landmark photo spot on the pier. Don’t forget to take off your shoes to feel the sand and step into the Pacific Ocean.
Continue to Beverly Hills, home to one of the most famous zip codes in the United States: 90210. Take in the excessive wealth and look for celebrity sightings as you drive by the homes of the rich and famous, where larger buses cannot go. Check out Rodeo Drive, the epicenter of luxury, fashion, and designer stores in the heart of Beverly Hills. At the end of Rodeo Drive is the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, made famous in the movie Pretty Woman.
On Hollywood Boulevard, both glitzy and tarnished, good and bad, you can enjoy 'people watching' of folks from every walk of life. Then see Sunset Boulevard, where some of the biggest bands started off in small bars on the Sunset Strip. Night owls still gallivant here on the prowl, at this place with infinite stories from the past many decades.
Head to Santa Monica Boulevard, part of legendary Route 66, so famous it has songs written about it. This boulevard showcases diverse backgrounds and cultures that form the backbone of Los Angeles. You'll see the TCL Chinese Theatre, a historic theater known throughout the world for the hand- and footprints of iconic actors. It was also the home of the Academy Awards ceremony from 1944 to 1946.
Pass by the Roosevelt Hotel, the oldest operating hotel in Hollywood, right on Hollywood Boulevard, and visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the world-famous stretch of sidewalk where you can see all your favorite stars immortalized in stars.
Enjoy views of the Hollywood Sign, the historic landmark in the Hollywood Hills (which once read "Hollywoodland") that also provides spectacular views overlooking Los Angeles.

Awesome trip. Harry is an awesome driver and guide.
Brilliant tour, small group which is great and fantastic tour guide, I highly recommend
Harry our Driver was very informative. The trip was well worth doing. We saw so much and was taken so close to things. When asked what I liked the most I couldn't say as it was all excellent, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Los Angeles. The food - a proper cooked asian meal was far better than other tour operators give you a rebooked sandwich. Water, orange juices and snacks were also offered at regular intervals. Well worth the price paid. Thank you Harry for being so informative, helpful and able to manage the 620ish miles done in the day. I would of given it more stars. EXCELLENT
Our driver and tour guide, Harry, picked us up on time at our hotel and then we went to pick up the other four people on our tour. We got on our way with Harry pointing out interesting information all along our ride to Santa Monica. We had ample time there and then made our way thru LA and on to Beverly Hills, Melrose and Hollywood. We were amazed at how much Harry knew about all of those places. While in Hollywood, we ate at a buffet but were given choices if we as a group wanted something different. We stopped at some sightseeing points and then made our way home. During the trip, we had muffins or granola bars and oj for breakfast and water all day long. I was amazed at how much he knew about all the places along the way and he was so helpful at every turn. I would definitely use Viator again and recommend Harry to anyone.
Wow wow wow amazing. We had harry as tour guide and he was fab. Will defo book again when come back. Thanks for an amazing day and experiance!
Great trip. We had Mr. Yee as our tour guide. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and a safe driver. Great way to take in the sites and not have to do all the driving yourself!
Great tour, would highly recommend! Our tour guide Harry picked us up on time, and was fantastic throughout the day. Extremely knowledgable and interactive throughout the day. Harry had water and snacks available throughout the day and even blankets and pillows for you to rest on the return trip!
My husband and I have always wanted to go to Cali! This tour was the perfect way to see all of the “hot spots” in one day. We were able to exit the car and look around for a reasonable amount of time! Harry was the most amazing tour guide!! He was very knowledgeable and personable with each of us :)
Muy buen tour! completo excelente servicio por parte de harry! se los recomiendo!
This by far was our best tour. Our tour guide was Harry and he was amazing. We saw a lot of sights and met some new friends on this tour!
Fantastic day trip, we got picked up at 5.45am and returned at 8pm....yes its a long day, but so worth doing! I pondered for ages over whether to book this trip, so glad I decided to book it in the end. Apparently Sunday's are the best day to do it as there is a lot less traffic around. We had Harry as our guide, he was amazing and certainly knew his stuff, he even went out of his way to find Pump restaurant for me I'm a huge Lisa Vanderpump fan. Definitely recommend this trip!
This tour was amazing!
Fantastic trip and the driver was very informative and friendly, great sights taken in. A bit more time out of the vehicle to do your own thing is the only improvement could be made
This was a fantastic way to end my Vegas trip once in a lifetime opportunity. I went yesterday on this trip 11/9/17 booked thru viator which was by far the cheapest place for booking compared to companies and places on strip. The driver I cannot remember his name was amazing he was so clued up. X
This trip is a must do!!! Our driver/guide Harry was fabulous!!! The sites and scenery were awesome!! Small group allowed us to visit areas that large tour buses are not allowed to enter. Highly recommend this tour!!!!
I highly recommend this trip! Our driver Harry was amazing, he pointed things out to us the whole way there. The car was a luxury 7 seater (fab being in a small group). Best highlights - Santa Monica pier, seeing celebrity mansions, lunch with the group and seeing the Hollywood sign!
What a great experience. We were collected on time and given cold bottled water and a bottle of pure orange juice and a light breakfast which included muffins, breakfast bars etc. Our tour guide was very friendly, it was his first trip with One Day Tours so I could sense he was a little nervous but he did a great job. The drive there was good, the car was comfortable and well conditioned. I think it helped that the other passengers were very friendly and we all got on very well. It took around 5 hours to get to Santa Monica from Vegas. The pier was ok but the weather was not great which had a big impact. I very much enjoyed the rest of the trip such a visiting famous houses, Greystone Manor and also Hollywood. The buffet was good. The drive back was long with traffic being heavy, I did feel sorry for our tour guide as it was a very long day. I do feel that the company should send 2 guides out and they should share the journey. There was an amazing lightening storm taking place all the way back to Vegas which kept us entertained. The trip itself is well worth the money although it is a very long day. I would definitely recommend this to others.
