Be entertained by an intimate look at many of South Carolina’s native animals and plants as your journey through the Aquarium takes you from the mountains to the sea. While a list that details every animal is is far too long to list here, you will see the following types: Amphibians, fish, invertebrates, mammals, plants and reptiles. Before you go home, don’t miss the opportunity to visit South Carolina’s only hospital for sick and injured sea turtles. The care provided is extraordinary and their efforts will leave you speechless.
Did you know the Aquarium is a place to watch movies in 4-D? Have a seat in this unique theater, and view a 3-D movie while feeling special effects such as wind gusts, splashes of water and movement under your feet, all synchronized to family-friendly films. Now playing is Sea Monsters. The film is a 15 minute 4-D experience.

Small scale venue, I would put on scale with the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. Needs more/bigger contributors for success like Georgia.
