The lunch cruise was wonderful. My granddaughter really enjoyed and we saw so many birds of different species. The lunch at the Blue Gill was excellant and very efficient and fast. They had everything read for us when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this trip. The pilot and co-pilot were very informative on the enviorment in and around Blakely State Park and the Bay. Wonderful trip. Look forward to going on another one.
It was great, and I would like to go on another one!
Crew was very good. Lunch was good. Delta was muddy.
Trip over an hour before getting to Blue Gill for lunch tour. Captain very informative of sights on the river and the river network. Pointed out Civil war fort locations and condor nest and kept up a running commentary about the Mobile delta and the wild life. I look forward to taking more trips with other themes. I really enjoyed it and think the price of the trip a bargain.
Informative and entertaining
The trip itself was awesome and the Captain was a world of knowledge. He pointed out many species of birds. We even saw a bald eagle. The lunch at The Blue Gill was ok. My son got a cheeseburger and he loved it. I wish I would have gotten one too. I got the baked fish. The filet was very small and it only came with fries....that were cold. I had to order a side of hush puppies and pay for them in addition. I don’t understand why they served such a small portion and not even a side salad to go with it. It did taste good, but was just a little disappointing. Next time I will get that cheeseburger or one of the poyboys.
Excellent!!! Will most definately take another excursion with you! One suggestion, please see if your lunch venue can offer either a salad/coleslaw/veggie with the lunch in substitute of fries. The food was very good!
Cruise itself was fabulous. Very informative, great Captiin and crew. Lunch was just so so. Had to ask 3 times for something to drink. Quality of food was just average, to be honest. But the cruise itself was great!
Beautiful lunch cruise...a little pricey but fun.
Our 3 hour lunch tour ended up only being 2 hours and 15 minutes. We didn’t get to look for any wildlife. The boat took us straight to lunch and only slowed down 1 time on the way back to tell us about a man made island and a flower. We couldn’t hear him because he was in the front and we were in the middle. No speaker/mic. We went on 1 there a few years ago and it was much, much better. Probably won’t try it again.
