CREATURE COMFORTS: • We will provide the use of an umbrella, and/or disposable ponchos, as needed, if rain is predicted • Refreshment/Hydration stop for guest purchases may be available • Guests are encouraged to: ** Wear comfortable walking shoes ** Wear comfortable weather-appropriate clothing ** Bring personal water or other hydrating liquids for consumption, as needed ** Wear sunscreen and bug-repellant for personal protection and comfort ** Wear hats, “cooling rags” and/or wicking clothing and use portable battery operated personal fans for hotter weather • DURING COVID-19 regulations, we can provide: ** Disposable masks, by guest request (ask if you need one) ** Hand sanitizer will be available, by guest request (ask if you need to use some of our hand sanitizer) ** Small tours/private tours maintaining social distancing between guests and guide • During COVID-19 regulations, we unfortunately cannot guarantee *** Restrooms being available on the tour- as venues may not have restrooms available to the public during this time- please plan accordingly for the two hour tour duration *** Tactile experiences – as touching some items (art, sculptures, etc.) on tour may discourage safe operation and enjoyment
All age appropriate tour that is family and pet friendly. Your tour is a leisurely to moderately paced walk in downtown Baton Rouge covering a route of about 3 miles in 2 hours. Good for most fitness levels and ages, but those with underlying health and respiratory problems may want to proceed with caution. Strollers and dog strollers are welcome - though certain terrain may be challenging for stroller and walker/cane use.
Unless otherwise discussed, guests will meet their tour guide in person on the Mississippi River Levee downtown by the Baton Rouge Municipal Dock ("The Paper-Clip Dock"). This location is at approximately the address of 300 South River Road, Baton Rouge, but on the levee (not the street side), next to the Mississippi River in downtown Baton Rouge. We will send a guide name/picture/details upon completed reservation.

Bring what you enjoy! We may have a refreshment stop on the tour if guests wish to purchase food/drink for their own comfort and enjoyment.
Yes, but please call ahead (225-772-7253) when you make your reservation, so we may alter our route areas for the comfort of guests needing accommodation.
Cancellations must be made by email or by phone (leave a message, if needed) 24 hours in advance of scheduled reservation time in order to receive a refund. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and is held “rain or shine,” keeping guide and guest safety in mind before cancelling for weather events. Refunds will also be issued in the event that All About Baton Rouge Tours/Red Stick Adventures has to cancel due to weather/guide illness/tour availability. No refunds or transfers for reserved guests who do not arrive for tour participation within 15 minutes of scheduled tour time. No exceptions.

We will monitor the weather for safety of our guests and guides and reserve the right to cancel if we deem necessary. Refunds will be issued in the event that All About Baton Rouge Tours/Red Stick Adventures has to cancel due to weather.
Tours require minimum participation of a total of two reserved guests to confirm. Guests may schedule one-person reservations, with the understanding that their tour is subject to cancellation if tour minimum is not met.
