"Enjoyable"

June 21, 2020 -

I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the captain stopped the boat with no explanation for a good 5-10 minutes. It took all of us a while to realize that he stopped for us to watch the sunset, which was behind a cloud, and then when he deemed it time to go, it felt like he was killing time on the river until it was time to take us back to the dock. I would have enjoyed more time cruising the water instead of feeling like the captain was ready to call it a day. I was disappointed in the outing - especially as my parents and I drove an hour to get there.

"A Near Perfect Experience "

June 20, 2020 -

The ranger and captain were very nice. The captain had great bits of history of not only the river delta, but also the city of Mobile and former town of Blakeley. The captain peppered his bits of trivia with humor, as well. We didn’t get to have a full on sunset because of cloud cover at the horizon but it was beautiful nonetheless. I hope there’ll be other sunset cruises throughout the year because I would like to go again.
