The tour leaves from the "Old Brick Barn" which is the oldest active stable in the city. The carriage is drawn by Percheron draft horses, and Classic Carriage has the best animal care record in Charleston. The tour goes past various churches, gardens, and antebellum homes in Charleston while your guide narrates.

Because we are working with horses, and booking times may fluctuate throughout the day, the tour may leave up to thirty minutes before or after your scheduled departure time. We ask that you please check in 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. If you do not check in by the scheduled time, we will try and get you on the next available tour. However, there are days when the company will sell out and this is not an option. This is one of the reasons we strongly encourage our customers to check in early.
There are several paid parking garages in the area.
